The club relies 100% on volunteers to operate. Without the volunteers, the club would have to charge another $300.00 – 350.00 per player. This would mean putting the game of football out of reach of many parents, especially those with two or three children playing.

In order to distribute the work load evenly between parents, our team mangagers along with our volunteer coordinator will contact you to see where you fit into our volunteer program. We are looking for parents to contribute no less than 10 hours of volunteer time per child for their first two children. This may range from working in the concession, to holding the down markers for a game, or helping set up the game field or picking up garbage during the games, selling 50/50 or raffle tickets. Parents who are already working as coaches, trainers, managers or executive members are not required to volunteer any additional time. We also recognize that there are parents who, because of work commitments and other family priorities are unable to volunteer.

Upon registration you will be requested to provide a post dated cheque for $100.00 for December.1. Provided you have completed your minimum number of hours for your family (Either 10 or 20 hours), you will have your cheques returned to you. If for any reason your family is unable to volunteer during the season, then your cheque will be cashed and the monies will go towards the operating cost of the club. These two policies were agreed to and voted on at the Annual General Meeting in January 1999, with revisions made in 2010.
